Accessibility statement

NANA wants every member and visitor to be able to use this site, regardless of ability or the device and assistive technology they use to browse it.

We build and test this site against WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the standard most member associations already hold their own sites to. That is our target, not a claim of full or ongoing conformance: individual pages can and do fall short, and this statement will say so honestly rather than assert a standard we have not verified.

• Every page keeps a single, correctly nested heading outline starting at one h1.

• Keyboard users can reach every interactive control, including the navigation menu and any dialog, without a mouse.

• A skip link lets keyboard and screen-reader users jump straight to the main content on every page.

• Color is never the only way information is conveyed, and text keeps sufficient contrast against its background.

Some pages on this site are still being rebuilt against our current design system and have not yet been fully checked against WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working through them in order rather than claiming they are already fixed.
