Director of Professional Learning

You will lead the council's professional-learning catalog, setting the agenda for courses, certificates and conference sessions serving 11,000 early-childhood teachers and center directors. You report to the executive director and manage a team within the council's 37-person staff in Atlanta.

The council represents 11,000 early-childhood teachers and center directors with a staff of 37 in Atlanta, Georgia. Executive Director Yolanda Pruitt-Ames chairs NANA's board inclusion committee, and Director of Data and Analytics Mei-Lin Harbaugh teaches member-engagement scoring for NANA's learning catalog.

• Set the annual professional-learning agenda across courses, certificates and conference sessions

• Manage instructors and subject-matter experts who teach council programs

• Track completion and satisfaction data across the learning catalog

• Develop new course content in response to member and state licensing requirements

• Coordinate professional-learning programming with the council's annual conference

• Manage the professional-learning budget and report outcomes to the executive director

• Represent the council in national conversations on early-childhood credentialing

• 6+ years managing professional-learning or continuing-education programs

• Experience in early-childhood education or a related licensing field

• Track record managing instructors and course content at scale

• Comfort presenting program outcomes to an executive director and board

• Budget management experience for a department-level program
