Dues and Billing Manager
Run dues billing for 7,800 members through NANA's dues-model pilot, reporting to CFO Kenji Albrecht.
You will run dues billing and renewal invoicing for 7,800 members while the society pilots a new dues model through NANA's Dues Model Study. You report directly to CFO Kenji Albrecht and work with a small finance team in Chicago.

The society represents 7,800 engineers at public water utilities, with a staff of 28 in Chicago, Illinois. CFO Kenji Albrecht runs one of the 12 member organizations piloting a new dues model under NANA's Dues Model Study, which found that flat-dues associations under 500 members lost a median 3.4% of members over three years while tiered associations gained 1.2%.
What you'll do
Bill and invoice dues for 7,800 members on individual renewal cycles
Reconcile dues receipts against the society's AMS and general ledger
Track billing outcomes under the pilot's new dues model and report them to Kenji Albrecht
Process refunds, proration and mid-cycle membership changes
Respond to member billing questions by phone and email
Prepare monthly dues-revenue reports for the finance committee
Coordinate with the AMS vendor on billing-system configuration changes
What you bring
3+ years in dues billing, accounts receivable or membership finance
Experience with an association management system's billing module
Comfort explaining a dues-model change to individual members
Strong reconciliation and general-ledger skills
Clear, patient phone and email communication
