Membership and Events Coordinator
Support membership and events for 3,300 transit planners on an AMS with single sign-on already in place.
You will support membership renewals and event logistics for 3,300 planners at city and regional transit agencies, working on an AMS where single sign-on is already in place. You report to the Director of Technology and work from the council's Seattle office.
About Council of Municipal Transit Planners
The council represents 3,300 planners at city and regional transit agencies, with a staff of 14 in Seattle, Washington. CEO Arjun Talwar-Hughes serves as NANA's board liaison to the digital program, and Director of Technology Ravi Deshpande-Cole ran the council's own single sign-on migration a year before NANA's.
What you'll do
Process membership renewals and new-member onboarding
Maintain member records and single sign-on accounts in the council's AMS
Coordinate registration and logistics for the council's annual meeting and regional events
Answer member questions about accounts, dues and event registration
Support the Director of Technology on AMS configuration and data cleanup
Track membership and event-attendance metrics for staff reporting
Assist with the council's chapter partnership with NANA's Pacific Northwest chapter
What you bring
2+ years in membership or events coordination at an association or nonprofit
Comfort troubleshooting basic AMS and single sign-on account issues
Strong organizational skills across overlapping membership and event deadlines
Clear phone and email communication with municipal-agency members
Familiarity with transportation or municipal-government audiences is a plus
