You will become the third staff member of a two-person association, running programs and member communications for 520 seed-library members while the association pilots a new dues model as the smallest participant in NANA's Dues Model Study. This is a part-time, remote-eligible role based in Burlington, Vermont.

The association represents 520 members running seed-library programs at libraries and agricultural organizations, with a staff of 2 in Burlington, Vermont. It is the smallest of the 12 associations piloting a new dues model under NANA's Dues Model Study, which found that flat-dues associations under 500 members lost a median 3.4% of members over three years.
What you'll do
Coordinate member programs, webinars and the annual gathering
Draft the association's member newsletter and renewal communications
Track outcomes of the dues-model pilot for the executive director
Answer member questions about programs and membership benefits
Maintain the member directory and program records
Support grant reporting for seed-library partner organizations
What you bring
2+ years working at a small nonprofit or association, paid or volunteer
Comfort as one of three staff covering many roles
Strong written communication for member newsletters
Basic familiarity with membership databases or spreadsheets
Interest in agriculture, libraries or seed-saving programs
